My Friendly Neighborhood Guide | All Cheat Tape Locations

Throughout the game, eleven hidden tapes are dispersed across various stages, and an additional four become available by completing the game on Normal, Survival, Veteran, and the secret Unfriendly difficulty. 

This guide keeps the original descriptions and gives each tape clear, short instructions. Get ready to find your way through secret rooms, solve puzzles, and use special keys to find all the recordings without missing a single one.

Cheat Tape 1: Prop Room Entrance

Once the Blue Circle Key is obtained, proceed through the locked door to enter the Prop Room. Look at the Golden Gong Calendar inside before going down the hall.

The first Cheat Tape is located on the far side, and collecting it will earn you an honor.

Cheat Tape 2: Sewer Brick Puzzle

In the Sewers, locate two inspectable bricks on either side of the central column. Interact with each and push them to reveal a hidden passage.

To get to the opening of the cave, follow the hallway with the bright yellow steps.

Inside, there is a second Cheat Tape on a table next to a strange writing on the wall. A group of mice is cheering around it.

Cheat Tape 3: Bolt Cutters Stairwell

After acquiring the Bolt Cutters, access the door leading upstairs from the elevator. Walk alongside the staircase to discover the third Cheat Tape placed on a landing adjacent to the steps.

Cheat Tape 4: TV Studio Desk

Defeat Norman near the stairwell, then head toward the TV Studio entrance. On the front portion of the desk within the studio, the fourth Cheat Tape awaits discovery; it is easy to overlook on a first playthrough.

Cheat Tape 5: CEO’s Office Safe

Enter the CEO’s Office through the double doors. Observe the large portrait, and interact with the desk to reveal a hidden safe behind the painting.

Jump inside the secret compartment to retrieve the fifth Cheat Tape from the floor near a scenic window view.

Cheat Tape 6: Stage Four Side Room

Return to Stage Four once the Red Diamond Key is in hand. In a side room above a rubber ducky display, the sixth Cheat Tape lies waiting for collection.

Cheat Tape 7: Camera and Grip Gear Room

Start in the Red Diamond Key room and go into the Camera and Grip Gear Room in Stage Four. 

To find the seventh Cheat Tape, turn on the garage opener, walk down the hall to the right, and look under the second opening.

Cheat Tape 8: Conference Room Variants

Use the Green Triangle Key to open a door across the hall that leads to the main Conference Room in the area with the Mask Puzzle. This is where the eighth cheat tape might show up.

If not encountered, revisit Stage Five via the left electrical door in the sewers; traverse the perimeter ledge above Stage Four on barrels and boxes to locate the tape in an alternate position.

Cheat Tape 9: Greenhouse Worktable

Navigate through the Greenhouse, activating switches sequentially to open a garage door. Pass through the green double gate into another section of Stage Four, then search the back corner of the room for the ninth Cheat Tape resting on a worktable.

Cheat Tape 10: Rooftop Broadcast Switch

After solving the late‑game puzzle and riding the lift with Arnold, collect the letter and attempt to shut down the broadcast.

Flip the switch to access the roof, then turn left upon exiting; the tenth Cheat Tape lies on the ground near the broadcast equipment.

Cheat Tape 11: Final Office Camera

Upon defeating the final boss, progress through the set of rooms to the elevator. Ride it to a secluded office where a letter sits on a table.

In the corner beside a surveillance camera, the eleventh Cheat Tape completes the collectible set.

Four additional tapes are unlocked by completing the game on Normal, Survival, Veteran, and Unfriendly difficulties.
