1. Repeated Boss Fights

If you're in need of Fans to upgrade either Mayday or Zuke you can replay boss fights for better rewards. Harder difficulties will yield more experience and you can refight bosses on standard for a better rank and more Fans. This is a great way to earn some decent experience if you don't have enough batteries.

2. Grab Double Jump and Dash

You're going to be jumping a lot and the best options to maintain control while in the air is the double jump and dash. Both can be purchased in the upgrade tree under Bunk Bed Junction. The double jump is the first ability you can purchase and dash can be obtained once you reach level 2.

3. Use the Minimap to Find Recharging Locations

Batteries are everywhere and you can use the minimap to locate points that require charging. Chances are, if you're been collecting, that you'll have more than enough to charge all of the areas in the game before reaching the final boss.

4. Check Your Stickers

Stickers are temporary boosts that will increase Mayday or Zuke's stats. These reset so make sure you have them equipped before heading into a battle.

5. Stickers Reset

In the open world, there are stickers you can collect. If you want another specific sticker found in Vinyl City just head back to the location after loading in and out of an area. They reset.
