Combat can be a handful in Silent Hill f, this guide will cover how you can do the Focus Attack.

Focus attacks are often overlooked, and there have been instances where people completely forget to incorporate them into their gameplay.

Focus Attacks in Silent Hill f are really powerful charged moves, all over very powerful they do use a lot of Sanity, but their high damage output makes it worth using.

Every weapon in the game has a unique Focus Attack, allowing you to experiment with what suits you the most.

Your basic combat in the game will revolve around heavy and light attacks. The light attacks are performed with the R1 trigger, whilst the heavy attacks are used with the Right Trigger.

To use the Focus Attack, your focus meter on the bottom left-hand side must be charged.

To use a Focus Attack, you want to hold the left trigger to charge the focus meter. The meter will send out a pulse to indicate that it is ready. And while holding the left trigger, simultaneously press the R1 to use your Focus Attack.

Once again, do keep in mind that charging and using Focus Attacks do use up a lot of sanity, so it’s not one of those things where you can spam indefinitely. To replenish your sanity, you’ll want to visit shrines that are found throughout Silent Hill f or use consumables.

Mastering the Focus Attack and combining it with light and heavy attacks as a quick and effective way to take down tougher enemies.
