Here's a guide on how to farm Axion Planes in The First Descendant.

If you want to mob, Ines is one of the most powerful characters in the game. With the addition of the difficult Axion Planes, where enemies do a lot of damage reduction, you need builds that do the most damage.

This complete guide covers the latest version of Ines, which is better for Axion Planes, as well as special settings for Void Erosion content.

Main Build for Axion Planes

To handle the higher challenge, you need to make some changes to your main setup for Axion Planes. To make the main change, you need to use Decimator instead of the tools you were using before in The First Descendant.

Module Selection

For Axion Planes material, you should switch out Potent Collector for Decimator. Potent Collector works well when there aren't many enemies, but in Axion Planes, there are too many enemies for it to be useful.

Because enemies keep popping up, you will always have enough resources, even if you use your fourth ability a lot.

In its current state, Veteran Tactics is not very reliable. Testing shows that the module doesn't usually restart the cooldown for your fourth ability as planned.

The problem is that all abilities, even ones that don't have cooldowns, are fighting for the chance to reset. Because of this, it can't be used for content that needs to deal the most damage possible in The First Descendant.

Decimator always does a good job because it gives stacking skill power bonuses when you beat enemies that have been buffed.

Because Conductor constantly weakens enemies, you will keep the highest skill power modifier of 50%.

This means that skills like Thunder Snare do about twice as much damage because they have low base modifiers but tick a lot.

Core Stats and Focus

You should prioritize complete downtime reduction through Nimble and MP Conversion. Increase the critical hit chance and damage while keeping the critical hit chance at about 98%.

Focus on Tech and Electric simultaneously during the double rest. Focus on Tech is your best choice since you will mainly spam the fourth ability.

Add one HP cell to improve your chances of survival in The First Descendant.

Trigger Module Configuration

For the best trigger module, choose Power Beyond. This module turns on when you use your globe or ground DOT skills, which is your fourth ability.

The mechanism gives Void Recharge stacks, and hitting enemies when you have the most stacks makes an Amorphous Phenomenon that groups enemies and does 15% more damage with your skills.

This damage boost is beneficial for Ines because she doesn't have any other skill power boosts.

This factor helps your damage formula a lot since you use specific focus Modules and put cooldown and critical stats first.

Death by a Thousand Cuts requires extensive setup work for minimal reward. To get the same result as using your second ability, which doesn't have a cooldown, you would have to use twelve attacks from your first ability or three attacks from your fourth ability in The First Descendant.

Bravery Set Configuration

The Bravery Set makes up for the lack of Veteran Tactics by lowering the cost of skills and giving you a 20% chance to shorten random skill cooldowns by one second when you beat an enemy.

Because there are so many enemies in Axion Planes, this effect lasts for a long time, letting you spam your fourth ability all the time.

The main problem is that you can't survive as long because the Bravery Set parts don't roll with HP stats.

However, your faster killing speed should stop enemies from doing a lot of damage. There are other external component sets you can choose from if you want more longevity over maximum DPS output.

Reactor Selection

Use an Electric Tech Reactor that has the Secret Garden substat and the skill delay and critical damage substats added to it. Since you still have almost a 100% chance of critical hits, cooldown, and critical stats are still very important in The First Descendant.

Arche Tuning

The way your Arche Tuning board is set up hasn't changed much. Focus on lowering cooldowns and increasing HP while getting all critical and damage changes to skills.

Installing Electric Cohesion will stack damage increases from electric skills. This is Ines's best Mutant Cell choice for dealing the most damage.

Inversion Reinforcements

If you choose the Arcade Circulation Tactic, the time will be significantly reduced every 25 seconds. As secondary options, you can use Deploy Hardened Shell to minimize damage from attacks and Neuro Stimulation to speed up MP healing.

Void Erosion Build Modifications

For Void Erosion content, you need a new approach that focuses on how your third ability can deliver a lot of damage to groups of foes.

Ability Focus and Strategy

When used correctly, your third power can do about 40 million damage to enemy groups. Before using your third ability, you should always use your first ability to apply Conductor.

Even though your first ability has been nerfed, your third ability can still go through walls, letting you hit from cover while channeling in The First Descendant.

In Void Erosion Purge, if you set up your ability correctly, you can wipe out whole enemy groups with just one third use.

Because it costs a lot of resources (319 plasma compared to 136 plasma for the third ability), don't use your fourth ability at all. Instead, focus on your first and third skills only.

Module Adjustments

For Void Erosion, swap out Decimator for Potent Collector. Because there are fewer enemies, managing resources is more critical than ever, and Potent Collector makes sure that abilities are always available.

To get the most damage out of your third ability, switch from Focus on Tech to Focus on Singular.

To do the most damage possible, use Front Lines, Emergency Measures, and Skill Concentration to improve your critical hit ability in The First Descendant.

Component and Reactor Changes

If you want to focus on singular damage scaling, use a Tingling Singularity Reactor instead of the tech form. Keep the substats the same while you change the type of Reactor.

For external parts, put on the two-piece Plague Set to boost the power of a single skill and the Hunter Set to shorten the cooldown of skills even more.

This combination makes sure that your third ability is always available and gives you more health, which makes you more survivable than the Bravery Set.

Avoid the Slayer Set, even though it might work well with other sets.

While Slayer gives you more skill power and remarkable resource recovery when you beat enemies with it, it also raises the cost of your skills by 15%, which means you can only use your third ability three times instead of four when you have all of your resources in The First Descendant.

Using four abilities without Slayer is better mathematically than using three abilities with it.

Secret Garden Setup

The Secret Garden is your primary weapon choice, and when you use tech abilities, it gives you stacking skill power boosts.

For better movement, roll Double Sprint speed cores and Grappling Hook recharge time. The unique ability of the weapon gives you persistent skill power stacks, which you can keep up by weaving your second ability into movements.

Modifying weapons isn't essential for Secret Garden. Installing Brisk Walk will help you move faster when you're hurt in The First Descendant.

Exterminator Considerations

In Axion Planes, Exterminator is a special weapon used to fight monsters with a lot of armor.

There are bosses whose skill damage is significantly reduced until you break their armor and helmets.

Exterminator gives you Firearm boosts that work against these boss parts, so you can quickly get rid of effects that lower your damage.

When fighting armored bosses, this weapon is helpful for any descendant that focuses on skill, though specific build configurations need more work and testing in The First Descendant.
