This guide covers the Stormguard Sanctum, an optional tomb in the Summit Forest. The entrance is located in the north-eastern part of the forest, near the wooden bridge and the hunting lodge.

Navigating to the Main Chamber

Light your torch and enter the tomb. Follow the linear cave corridors. You will quickly reach the main chamber, which contains a base camp, as in other tombs.

The chamber is very dark. While you could use Survival Instincts to navigate, it is better to light several wall lamps with fire arrows for clearer visibility.

Destroying the First Barricade

Face the wooden barricade on the left side of the chamber. You must destroy it to proceed. This is done by igniting the flammable gas leaking near it.

You can shoot a fire arrow directly at the barricade or at the lamp to its left. Either method will cause an explosion that destroys the barrier.

Traversing the Gas-Filled Area

After the explosion, immediately pull yourself up onto the newly revealed ledge. This area is filled with poisonous gas, so you must act quickly to avoid taking critical damage. From this ledge, turn left twice and leap up to a higher ledge.

Destroying the Second Barricade

Stand in front of the second wooden barricade. Use the same method: shoot a fire arrow at it or a nearby lamp to ignite the gas and clear the path.

Final Platforming to the Treasure

Once the second barricade is destroyed, run across the horizontal beam ahead. From the end of the beam, leap toward the interactive wall.

Hold the action button to use your climbing axe upon contact. Climb this wall to enter the final treasure room. Open the chest to receive 250 Salvage points and a map showing Relics and Documents.
