In Valkyrie Elysium, you can only use your best moves and call for help when your gauges are full. Recovery Runes help you get your strength back faster, so you can keep going.

These things are mostly about your Arts Gauge and your Soul Gauge. These can be found by exploring the world during your main missions or by helping your friends with side tasks in VALKYRIE ELYSIUM.

Filling the Soul Gauge

The Soul Gauge is important for summoning your companions to help you in battle. To get Soul Gauge Recovery Up I, look for a chest in Chapter 5 near the White Dress. If you want the second level, Soul Gauge Recovery Up II, you must complete the task called Village Request 2.

The most powerful version, Soul Gauge Recovery Up III, is earned after you finish the mission titled A Bout with Kristoffer. These will help you keep your friends on the battlefield much longer.

Boosting the Arts Gauge

Your Arts Gauge lets you use powerful magic spells against your enemies. You can find Arts Gauge Recovery Up I in Chapter 4 inside a square arena that sits off the main path; the chest is right on the ground floor.

For the next boost, Arts Gauge Recovery Up II, you need to finish the side quest known as Village Request 1 in VALKYRIE ELYSIUM.

To get the best recovery for your spells, you should finish Arts Gauge Recovery Up III, which is the reward for Combat Training for Taika. Having these equipped ensures you always have enough magic ready for a tough fight.
