Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 | All 35 Dataslate Locations

There are 35 dataslates in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and you can track your collected Dataslates in the hub by pressing the tab and going to "Dataslate Repository." The sequence of collectibles in the game matches the sequence numbers in this guide, so it is easy to find any that you may have missed and the mission in which they can be found.

Dataslates are scattered throughout both story campaign missions and operations. You can select missions in the hub, and this guide follows the same order as the data repository in the game. Here are all the Space Marine 2 dataslate locations that you can find in different missions, along with their screenshots:

Mission: Skyfire

1. Stormtalon Crash, Kadaku

In the first location, you’ll start in a swamp. As you begin, head a bit further from the weapon capsule until you see a passage to the left, blocked by plants. Shoot the red cocoon to open the way.

2. Admission of Desertion

The next dataslate is located after you proceed through the swamp and before you reunite with the soldiers. You’ll spot the audio log on the opposite side of the destroyed bridge.

3. Anti-Tyranid Offensive, Kadaku

Afterward, at the crossroads, you need to head up the stairs to the top to find another one.

4. Desired Purgation of Data

Finally, before you reach the landing pad, there’s one last dataslate at the bottom of the elevator.

Mission: Inferno

5. Amelioration of Improper Ordnance Storage

The first dataslate in this mission is in a ruined bunker near the start of the level, to the right of some sunflowers you will into.

6. Admiration of Promethium

As you move further, you’ll come across a factory with a destroyed roof. After going up the ramp, turn left, and you’ll find another audio log.

Mission: Severance

7. Conflict, Adeptus Astartes/Tyranid, Kadaku

During the storyline, you’ll come across an abandoned camp. Here, you’ll find an audio log on the mountain.

8. Tyranid Attack, Designation: Rippers, Kadaku

After defeating the boss and reaching the citadel, make sure to pick up another audio log near the elevator before finishing the level.

9. Lamentation For Sacred Machines

After passing a room filled with rats, you’ll enter a large room with a staircase. Instead of going up, use the terminal to open a door leading to a ventilation shaft. At the end of the shaft, you’ll find another audio log.

10. Summary, Tyranid Invasion, Kadaku

The final one is in the swamp, located on a ledge in the rock within a small canyon that you pass through during the story, just before the last arena in the jungle. You need to use your jetpack to hop onto a platform in the top left of the first cave you enter.

Mission: Machinus Divinitus

11. Attempted Liturgy for Burnt Capacitor

The first audio log at this level is on the roof during the defense sequence when the bridge opens. Keep to the left to find it.

12. Termination: 101010-S

You’ll find another in the corridors on your way to the factory, hidden in one of the alleys near a ruined bridge. You’ll follow the mission marker until it tells you to take a left. Here, take a right instead and you’ll find the audio log in the next lit up room.

13. Improper Command

At the mission’s end, just before entering the elevator room, head straight down the corridor from the front door to pick up the last audio log that is to the right of the end of the hall.

Mission: Ballistic Engine

14. Missing Servo-Hauler

Once you enter the building, follow the right corridor. Take the right path to find the first dataslate at one of the forks.

15. War Preparation, Avarax

Later in the level, there is another one near a destroyed tank in the wagon arena.

Mission: Servant of the Machine

16. Cannon Maintenance, 1.002.81

Behind the elevator that takes you upstairs, there’s an audio log waiting to be found. Just outside the door you opened, keep to the left, and go behind the structure you were in; you will find the next audio log.

17. Tithe Collection, Avarax

When you reach the Temple of Thassean location, go straight ahead instead of heading down the stairs. Take a right into some rubble, and you’ll find another dataslate.

Mission: Decapitation

18. Final Sermon

You will see a collectible on the balcony that you can get to by taking stairs until you reach the very top.

19. Bridge Construction, Overseer Commentary

Later, while moving through a ventilation shaft, you’ll find another. Instead of following the storyline directly, continue through the shaft to locate the second audio log.

Mission: Vox Liberatis

20. Creation of Daemonhost, I

Take the stairs to the top instead of at a fork in the road where you need to go down. Enter the room to your left, and you’ll find a collectible inside.

21. Creation of Daemonhost, II

You’ll reach a point in the Operation where you have to take the elevator down; you’ll find another dataslate on the circular arena's lowest floor.

Mission: Voidsong

22. Potential Heresy, Adeptus Astra Telepathica, 2287.8

Follow the tank that breaks through a large door where you need to restore power to progress. After powering up and opening the door, there’s an audio log in the room behind the weapons pod.

23. Potential Heresy, Adeptus Astra Telepathica, 2288.2

As you continue, in the airlock between sectors three and four, there is a ruined floor above the second door to the right, where you’ll find another dataslate. You will need to use your jetpack to jump onto the platform.

24. Potential Heresy, Adeptus Astra Telepathica, 2289.5

The final one in this mission is after using the elevator in sector five. Exiting, you’ll find the audio log near the stairs on your right. You’ll know you are at the right place if you take a sharp right when you see some Flamethrower NPCs near a fire.

Mission: Reliquary

25. Servitor Greeting, Demerium

The first audio log in this mission is near a bookshelf in the large arena. Find It by going up the stairs to your left at the starting area of the mission.

26. Heretic Attack, Demerium

After passing through this area, you’ll reach a bridge with two towers. You should be surrounded by fire outside the towers before you head in. Hidden on the right balcony of the first tower is another audio log.

Fall of Atreus

27. Unauthorised Override Attempt

In the arena, you'll find a collectible after jumping through a hole in the floor onto a freight elevator. You can find this by heading in the opposite direction of the exit in the back of the room.

28. Status: Battle Barge, Sword of Atreus

The second one is located at the top of the spiral staircase close to the end of the Operation.

Mission: Dawn’s Descent

29. Effects of Noctilith Exposure

As you move through the chapel, instead of going down as instructed by the storyline, check around the corner at a platform with tombstones that you can jump onto with a jetpack. You’ll find a dataslate here.

30. Tomb Excavation, Analog Backup Log 8.6

In the Wastelands location, head to the graveyard to the left of the objective you’re meant to go to and head down into the crypt for another collectible next to a camp you will run into.

31. Tomb Excavation, Analog Backup Log 8.7

The next is on the other side of the bridge before you enter the room with the elevator. Once again, head to the opposite direction of the objective and you will find another dataslate.

32. Tomb Excavation, Analog Backup Log 9.9

Finally, in the second part of the map, you’ll find an audio log that is hard to miss as it’s part of the main path. You’ll find it next to a corpse.

Mission: Bellum Sempiternus

33. Effects of Warp Exposure

During the storyline, you’ll jump into the catacombs. There's a hidden audio log you will find by taking a quick left and then right after jumping down into the catacombs.

34. Burial, Adeptus Astartes, Salamander Chapter

At the part of the mission where you have to advance to the Second Force, in the first circular corridor with a coffin in the middle, head past it towards a door straight ahead. The dataslate will be to the left of the door.

35. Amount of Deceased on Demerium

The final dataslate can be found by taking a turn to the right and keeping to the right of a glowing pathway. You can do this when you reach the part where you must advance to the Obelisk in the mission.
