To find ghosts in White Day, set the difficulty to Hard. This guide covers all 20 ghost locations and their summoning methods.

Ghost Locations & Summoning Methods

1. House Mistress

A strict housemistress, Miss C, was accused of killing a student and later took her own life. To summon her, collect cigarettes from the first-floor bathroom in Main Building 1. Then, go to the third-floor girls’ bathroom in Main Building 2 and look into the mirror above the second sink using only a lighter. She will appear holding scissors.

2. Fox Spirit

A fox-like entity from Korean folklore haunts the corridor between Main Building 2 and the New Building. Without the Spirit Bell, players hear her singing Oranges and Lemons. If she stops, she will suddenly scream. Claw marks on the walls hint at her feral nature.

3. Lying Student

Ji Hai was murdered by her jealous ex-boyfriend, Mong Ho. She appears in the night duty room, then in classrooms 3-3, 3-6, and finally, 3-9. Interacting with her in each location reveals her face, after which she suddenly moves.

4. Woman in the Closet

A woman tortured during the Japanese occupation was sealed inside a cabinet. She died standing. Open lockers in the dark to see her mangled body shrieking in agony.

5. Tree Ghost

A spirit resembling a tree abducts So Young. Defeat it by poisoning its pods and burning it. The ghost originates from a teacher, Mr. B, who burned alive trying to save his beloved tree.

6. Diary Keeper

The spirit of an unborn child, longing for its mother, attacks in Main Building 2. Finish the unfinished clay doll in the kiln and return it to the spirit to end the encounter.

7. Da-Som

Desom drowned due to a curse from a love letter she sent. To summon her, retrieve the letter, and return it to her. Bloody handprints on windows signal her presence.

8. Starved Ghost

Yeong Mi starved herself to death due to an eating disorder. To summon her, place a lunchbox on a tray in the storeroom of the New Building twice. A skeletal hand will grab it before she appears.

9. Girl with the Hidden Face

Once a bully, Un Ah was disfigured by acid and later died by suicide. To defeat her, use the Yin-Yang token in the Music Appreciation Room. If not quick, she attacks, revealing her scarred face.

10. Library Ghost

A girl named Young Hee studied to the point of exhaustion and took her own life. Summon her by playing on Hard Mode and possessing a report card of a student who placed second in class.

11. Child Solving a Problem

Na Hai, a perfectionist, failed an easy math problem and was humiliated. She gouged out her eyes in frustration. To summon her, collect five math problem pieces and enter Classroom 211 while holding her bloodstained workbook.

12. Haunted Head Ghost

A woman was decapitated by a falling net, and her head was never recovered. It now floats through the school, chasing players randomly. Ominous sounds signal her arrival.

13. Attendance Ghost

Yon Sun, mocked for a love letter, took her own life. Summon her by collecting the gym teacher’s hat and reading the attendance list in her old classroom. She will rush over in fury.

14. Doppelganger/Mirror Ghost

Twin sisters Ye Ji and Yae Un were dancers. Jealous, Yae Un injured her sister’s feet, causing her downfall. Ye Ji’s ghost later choked her to death. Summon the doppelganger in the Dance Room by triggering the mirror event. Defeat her by breaking the mirror with speakers.

15. Spider Ghost

A strange girl with spider-like features disappeared but later returned, attacking a classmate. This ghost can be seen crawling on ceilings in classrooms.

16. Face Filled with Hatred

Yeong Hee was pushed to her death by her jealous friend Un Ju. To summon her, crouch in the last stall of certain bathrooms in Main Building 1. Knocking will begin before her vengeful spirit searches for her killer.

17. Hanging Woman

A senior student was haunted by her friend’s voice after she died in a fire. Unable to bear the guilt, she hanged herself. Her ghost appears at various locations but never attacks.

18. The Mannequin

A prisoner experimented on during the Japanese occupation was turned into a mannequin. To wake him, run until near exhaustion in the Biology Lab, then light the burner beside him. Survive long enough, and he will return to his lifeless form.

19. The Mermaid

Dee, a pond caretaker, rejected a bully’s advances and was murdered. Her remains were fed to the fish. The boy who killed her later drowned, his body chewed apart. As a boss, Dee appears in the swimming pool. Avoid her using L-rods and drain the pool to defeat her.

20. Grandmother Ghost

An old woman cared for orphans in a refugee camp but mysteriously disappeared. If unlucky, players encounter her on the New Building’s indoor bridge, where she asks, Sweetie, where are mine? Do not answer, or she will take your soul.!
