The First Descendant: How To Unlock Freyna

First Descendant has several fantastic female characters, and Freyna is one of them. Unlocking Freyna isn't that easy, and it gets a bit confusing. If you have been trying to unlock her but couldn't, then here's a guide for you to follow.

 

The first thing I recommend to do is head over to Anais and then you're going to click on Research Request. Then go over to Descendants and then click on Freyna. After that from the bottom menu, enable Tracking On, and see exactly where each one of the items that you need to unlock her. You’ll need the following research materials

- Freyna Enhanced Cells (1)
- Freyna Stablizer (1)
- Freya Spiral Catalyst (1)
- Freyna Code (1)

You can click any of these items and see the acquisition info to see exactly where each of those items is located.

 

First, you’ll go for Freyna Stabilizer. However, before you can even start this mission, you need to have the Vespers region unlocked. Once you have the Vespers region unlocked, you want to go to The Lumber Yard, and then you want to find the Battlefield Mission Ruins Path. Keep in mind there is a 20% drop rate, so you might have to do this one mission quite a few times, probably six-seven times. You’ll get the Freyna Stabilizer after completing this mission.

 

Then, to collect the Freya Spiral Catalyst, go to Vespers again and go to the Ruins Outpost you'll see the second mission Ruins Underground Entrance and this is where you'll get the Freya Spiral Catalyst. Again, remember this is also a 20% drop rate. So, you know you might have to do this a few times to get the item.

 

Then you’ll get the Freyna Enhanced Cells after completing The Shelter Mission, which is in Timberfall. But you need to complete Supply Depot and Moonlight missions before you have access to that. This means you need to do all the missions in Timberfall before this The Shelter activity becomes active. After completing all the missions, go talk with Jeremy, and then once you finish talking with him, you can do The Shelter mission. This mission too has a 20% drop rate, and you might have to do this a few times. This might be a bit frustrating since this is not a short mission. But you’ll eventually get it.

 

Now to get Freyna Code, head over to Sterile Land, then go to the Rockfall region and there's an objective to the bottom right in Rockfall called the Rockfall Vulgus Strategic Outposts. This mission will give you the Amorphous Material Pattern for Freyna. This mission also has a 20% drop rate. So, you might have to do this a couple of times, but there’s a cool-down timer of five minutes. But this mission takes only a few minutes to complete. So it won’t be too hard to get that item.

 

Now you need the final item called the Freyna Equipment Material 2 you need to complete a couple of sub-quests. Before you start these quests, equip the Regular Bunny, and then check your active quests. You should have one that says obtain Freyna Equipment Material 2. The main reward from this mission is going to be essential. So, go to Sterile Land, then Rockfall and you’ll see a blue flag with a mission called Void Fragment. To get to the mission quickly, go to the Restricted Zone Outpost south of Rockfall and use the gate that's right next to the Void Fragment quest.

 

Then you’ll see the other sub-quest blue fall called Void Fusion Reactor - Sterile Land Rockfall Zone. Finish this quest to unlock that Morpheus material. The voice shards are going to allow you to activate and spawn the boss. Once you kill this boss, he's going to drop a crafting table. Put your Morpheus Material in there, and it's going to give you the Freyna Code.

 

Now you have every single item needed to unlock Freyna. We just have to go back to Anais and click Research Request. It's going to cost you 400,000 Gold and 16 Hours of research time. So, once you have the Gold and time to spare, do the research you'll unlock Freyna.
