Devil May Cry 5 How to Defeat Malphas

When you first meet Malphas, she doesn't look threatening. She's actually very deadly, and one of the toughest bosses in Devil May Cry V. Would not think it seeing she's riding a chicken embryo. Here's how to defeat her.

Stay close to Malphas since she can use teleporters for long distance attacks. These are easily telegraphed by the large purplish gates of where the attack is heading. She can also summon spikes that comes towards the player from her location outward from the ground. While the chicken is a big target, jump into the air and aim for Malphas. 

After 1/3 of her health has dropped V will throw devil bringers into the stage to aid you and Malphas' will armor herself. Avoid here at all cost, offensive attacks will not work. Wait until the black armor is gone before attacking again. 

Now will start using the gates to teleport across the stage. These attacks are on a timer of 2 seconds, just wait for her to pop out and avoid the charge. Once done, do whatever it takes to stun Malphas and if you have the buster arm you can trigger a unique attack. 

During the third phase, Malphas will dig into the ground and start recovering health. Attack with everything you have to lower the regen rate and stun her. If you're not successful you'll need to continue the assault.
