Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach Should Be Removed from PSN

Five Nights at Freddy's has a massive fanbase but they deserve better than this. Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach clearly was not ready for release.

One of the most infamous games to release was Cyberpunk 2077. Refunds were so numerous that the game was delisted from Sony's digital store and Microsoft issued a warning about all future purchases on its store. Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is the latest installment in the popular horror franchise and if you're like me and purchased on PS4 or PS5 be ready for history repeating itself. If you thought Cyberpunk 2077 was bad at launch, just wait till you enter the Pizzaplex.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach,NoobFeed,

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is teeming with glitches and errors on both versions of the game. After replaying the game 3 times I encountered crashes, clipping, Monty mimicking the Flash's speed, stuttering that can cause motion sickness, and so many other problems. It became a game within a game to see when the game would end up glitching with the latest being the inability to enter Freddy's chest. A mechanic that is essential to progression since you can only avoid the Daycare attendant Moondrop by entering a charging station which locks me out from exiting the chest.

It's possible to complete the game from start to finish it's filled with so many problems that you'll need a will made of titanium to make it through. While I haven't experienced the PC version of the game and this analysis is only based on the PlayStation versions it's clear this game should not be sold on Sony's store.

Granted this is the same store that sells Life of Black Tiger but Scott Cawthon has a history of ensuring his games meet a certain quality. Pulling Five Nights at Freddy's World from Steam because of fan feedback about the quality. While officially retired from game development this release is just insulting and matches the quality of GTA Definitive Edition minus the milk rain.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach,NoobFeed,

Five Nights at Freddy's has a massive fanbase but they deserve better than this. This game clearly was not ready for release and instead of delaying the game, they released a broken title. This has become commonplace in the video game industry but gamers should continue to call developers and publishers out for treating customers like free testers and charging them. $40 for Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, in this state it's not worth $10. For the sake of being fair just like Cyberpunk 2077 Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach should be pulled until these major technical problems are resolved.

Here's our Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach PlayStation 5 Review.
