Studio MDHR has announced that the planned DLC for Cuphead is being pushed back to sometime in 2021 - no particular month was specified. The studio cites the COVID-19 virus and the safety of their staff as a primary factor in this decision. The Delicious Last Dish was originally slated to come out in 2019, but was previously delayed once.
In the wake of the ongoing global pandemic affecting so many, we have made the difficult decision to push back the release of The Delicious Last Course. For our wonderful Cuphead community, we've prepared a letter from Studio MDHR founders Chad & Jared Moldenhauer to share more.

This is a reasonably choice, as many other games and content from other developers have been rescheduled. Outside of keeping their staff safe, the extra amount of time can ensure that Studio MDHR can make an even more quality end product.
