Arkane Studios Aiming for a 16-20 Hour Playtime for Dishonored 2
Let's see how many speedrunners break that time
News by Grayshadow on Sep 16, 2016
The original Dishonored shocked many gamers, especially Bethesda, for being one of the best open-ended stealth action-adventure games last generation. Despite its length many sought to replay the game to see how many different variations existed for completing each task, now Arkane Studios is reaching a new game length goal to ensure a longer experience.
On Twitter Co-creative director, Harvey Smith, tweeted that they're looking for a 16-20 hour experience for the first playthrough:
We' were aiming at 12-20 hrs playtime (dependent heavily on play-style); playtest says more like 16-20 first time through."
In an age where speedrunners have completed games that take days to complete in mere minutes it won't take long before someone finds a way to break that approximate time.
Dishonored 2 is set to release on November 11th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
