EITR Combines Dark Souls, Pixel Art And An Isometric Perspective

EITR is developed by a two man team and takes inspiration from Norse mythology.

Developed by a two man team, EITR looks to make use of a combination of elements we haven’t seen a lot of. Souls-inspired combat, where dashing, blocking and timing your attacks are vital, an isometric perspective and a very distinctive style of pixel art make one raise an eyebrow when going over images from the game. EITR’s story and universe is inspired by Norse mythology, hence, it follows a Shieldmaiden who’s been tricked by Loki.

After a couple of showings at a number of conventions, the small development team hasn’t issued any updates in a while. Initially set to release in 2016, we’re hoping to see EITR on our monitors sometime this year.
