Tennis fans have something to look out for as Breakpoint's Tennis World Tour releases in a bit over a week. Published by Bigben Interactive, the title will feature 30 of the world's best tennis players as playable characters, including Roger Federer, Angelique Kerber and Stan Wawrinka. Motion capture was used to carefully reproduce different shot types, while matches will take place on a selection of 18 types of courts, including grass, clay or carpet.
Career mode will let you create and manage your own tennis player. Aside from playing matches and tournaments, you'll also have to schedule training sessions while considering your player's fatigue. The money you earn can go into purchasing equipment, staff or paying tournament fees to participate in better tournaments. The carreer mode trailer details all its aspects. Over 80 skill cards will reproduce tactical and mental aspects, allowing for playstyle customization. Tennis World Tour will also come with an online mode which includes quick matches, ranked matches and weekly challenges. You can play against a friend on the same console, with 4 player doubles matches coming "soon".
Tennis World Tour is set to release on May 22nd on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The PS4 and Xbox One versions can be pre-ordered on their respective stores for the price of $59.99.
