Among the several big-name trailers that were debuted at this year's VGAs was Forza Motorsport 4, the next title in Microsoft's flagship racing series.
The trailer is mostly live action teaser footage, but at the end, we are treated to an incredible-looking rendered Ford GT, giving us a short glimpse of potential in-game visuals that look already set to give Gran Turismo 5 a run for its money, if not eclipse it altogether.
Now that's a good-looking model
Not many details have been released yet, though Microsoft followed the trailer with a press release teasing at Kinect integration without getting specific. From the press release: "Through the power of Kinect, players will be able to step through the TV screen and jump into the driver’s seat while the engaging controller-based experience will let you take on the bone-jarring physics, unparalleled levels of customisation, and rosters of dream cars and tracks."
In keeping with the other VGA announcements, we're given the vague release date of Fall 2011, but Microsoft has a good bit of breathing room to deliver on that one after the debacle that was the epic GT5 delay.
