THQ Nordic Obtains Rights to TimeSplitters and Second Sight Rights
The return of TimeSplitters and Second Sight?
News by Grayshadow on Aug 15, 2018
THQ Nordic has been securing rights of older IPs for a while now and resurrecting them into HD remakes. Now the publisher has obtained the rights to Timesplitters and Second Sight.
Timesplitters released back in 2000 and was developed by Free Radical Design for the PS2. It involved traveling through time and fixing events, for fans of the series it was a beloved FPS that had engaging multiplayer content.
Second Sight was a stealth science-fiction title originally made for the PS2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC in 2004. It released along with another psychic themed game called Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy.
It's likely that THQ Nordic will remake these games for modern audiences to generate notoriety for these titles like they did for de Blob.
