Recently, Sony confirmed that PlayStation Plus members could download Nioh for free this November. To complement the news Team Ninja revealed a release date for the sequel Nioh 2. It'll launch this March 13th, 2020.
This date is pretty crowded with Final Fantasy VII: Remake and Cyberpunk 2077 also releasing around the same time. Doom Eternal has also been pushed back to the same window. So Nioh 2 has a lot of competition.
In addition, Nioh 2's open beta will run from November 1st to November 10th. Allowing players to download and play the game during that period. Those who participate will earn the Kamaitachi Helmet when the game becomes publicly available.
