Hideo Kojima Cancels On GDC 2020 Event Due to Concerns of the Coronavirus
Hideo Kojima will not be attending GDC 2020 anymore

The coronavirus has a lot of people on edge. With private companies pulling out of events due to concerns for their employees. Sony pulled out of both PAX East and GDC and The Outer Worlds for the Nintendo Switch has been indefinitely delayed. Now, framed developer Hideo Kojima won't attend GDC 2020 because of the virus.
The news was made public on Kojima's social media accounts. Stating:
Kojima Productions has made the difficult decision to cancel our participation at the 2020 Game Developers Conference due to increasing concerns related to coronavirus. (1/2)https://t.co/K6FJtq5Tpx

Kojima was set to appear to host a presentation on the philosophy of Death Stranding.
