Humankind lets players lead humanity starting from its humble beginnings and into the modern age. As you advance through eras, you evolve your faction by taking on traits from different cultures. Thus, starting as Ancient Egypt doesn't mean you're stuck with them until the end, as you can evolve into Romans, Vikings, or any other of the 60 available factions, making for a faction of your own.

Fame will act as a victory condition in Humankind that tracks every deed, decision and battle, acting as a "unifying victory condition". Speaking of battles, the title will emphasize different terrain types, their mastery being key to to victory. Humankind is due out next year.
