Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Disc Required to play Modern Warfare Remastered

If you were planning on purchasing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare just for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered, then selling Infinite Warfare, think again. You need Infinite Warfare to play Modern Warfare Remastered.

In the Modern Warfare Remastered FAQs:

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game digital download that will be included in the Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition and Legacy Pro Edition on PlayStation 4. The digital download is redeemed via a voucher code on an insert in the box. The Infinite Warfare game disc must be inserted to play Modern Warfare Remastered. Internet connection is required."

Buying digitally will get you access to both games.

Since it's announcement many have criticized Activision for selling Modern Warfare Remastered with Infinite Warfare as a bundle.  

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches on Xbox One, PS4, and PC November 4th.
