This month we've been all about Cosmochoria, an indie game from Canadian developer 30/30. The colorful game "is a love letter to old-school action / arcade games like Asteroids, Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong." Players control a little, naked cosmonaut who exists to restore an alien infested galaxy before it’s lost forever. He fly's between planets, shoots aliens and plants seeds all in the hopes of seeing life restored in a sad, desolate galaxy.
This week we gave our readers and viewers a sneak peek at the game in its alpha state with our preview article, and although the game hasn't made it through Steam Greenlight, the future looks bright for Cosmochoria. 30/30 recently announced they were planning on launching a Kickstarter campaign the first week of April, however, it seems the developers were eager to get things going as the Kickstarter page is now live.
There are some awesome rewards for those who support Cosmochoria. For pledging just $9 CAD backers will receive a DRM-Free digital version of the game, and for pledging $60+ CAD backers will receive physical items including t-shirts, art prints and a physical copy of Cosmochoria.
See more GIFs and artwork on the Kickstarter page.
Cosmochoria will release this Fall for Windows, Mac and Linux. According to the Kickstarter, it appears the game is estimated to be available in October. Support the developers on Steam Greenlight and back the game on Kickstarter for some sweet kickbacks.
