Game Freak Gamescom 2019 Showcase Features New Area in Pokemon Shield and Sword

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield has been having a mixed reception following the reveal that not every Pokemon will be featured. Still, most are excited for the 2 Pokemon game to come to the Nintendo Switch. With Game Freak releasing a new video showing off a new part of the Galar Region.

Narrated by Shigeru Ohmori, this unnamed town is available early on in the game. The area has that classic green, sunny, and somber atmosphere that most early towns have. With most later stages having new different types of weapon and terrain like snow and mountains.

This town introduces the train station. Allowing players to travel from town to town. Which is fantastic if players don't want to use the flying taxi service.
