Indie developer Stuck In Attic has announced that its upcoming point-and-click adventure game, Gibbous - A Cthulhu Adventure, is set to release early next month. The title will become available on August 7 on PC, via Steam and Gog.com.
Described as "a comedy cosmic horror adventure made in Transylvania", Gibbous - A Cthulhu Adventure channels classic point-and-click adventure titles, using "detailed traditional animation" alongside "gorgeous HD art" to present its more than 60 detailed environments.
Gibbous - A Cthulhu Adventure follows the (mis)adventures of two protagonists. On the one hand, detective Don R. Ketype seek to retrieve an, unsurprisingly, "mysterious evil tome". On the other hand, librarian Buzz Kerwan accidentally uses it to transform his cat, Kitteh, "into a walking, talking abomination". That's what the game's Steam description says, anyway. If you ask me, the screenshots only betray the presence of an adorable furball.
You can find more information about the title on its Steam page and get a taste of what to expect in its latest trailer.
