An exclusive physical edition of The Last of Us series for the PlayStation 5 is rumored to be on the way. This comes from billbil-kun from Dealabs magazine, who has been spot-on with everything so far. He suggests that a new, exclusive PlayStation 5 physical edition of The Last of Us is arriving soon. This exclusive version of The Last of Us game will cost $120 USD when it releases sometime later this year.

Presumably, this The Last of Us bundle for the PlayStation 5 physical edition will include both the original and Remastered versions of The Last of Us series. You can still get the original for $70 and The Last of Us Part II for $40 on the PlayStation Store, and the original Remastered for $20, and Remastered Part II is $50. Consider the scenario if we bundle them together and offer them for $120.

   The Last of Us

While this seemed a bit unnecessary, it’s still a decent bundle to have before The Last of Us Part III arrives in 2027. And with that comes the recent debate over whether The Last of Us Part III will have a major story alteration or not. Neil Druckmann apparently responds to the question, "Was Joel right?" in an article published by Push Square. The trailblazing The Last of Us series by Naughty Dog has forced players to confront numerous difficult moral dilemmas.

Joel Miller's choice at the end of the first game is one of the most consequential, and fans have argued about its ramifications for more than ten years. According to Neil Druckmann, the director of Naughty Dog and the author of the original game's controversial story, Joel made a crucial decision when he sacrificed humanity's only hope for a virus cure in order to save Ellie from an operation that would have killed her.

In response to a similar question posed by IGN, the bulk of the actors in the HBO adaptation admitted that they lack the decisiveness necessary to survive the brutal apocalypse in The Last of Us while offering a variety of evasive and convoluted explanations. Druckmann, on the other hand, was more direct. "Joel was correct," he stated. What Joel did to rescue his daughter is something I wish I could have done if I were him.

For the simple reason that people have been wondering, "Was Joel right?" about this game for more than ten years. I find it interesting that Neil Druckmann, who wrote the plot for the first game, offers input on the matter and states that he agrees with Joel and would have tried to do the same, even if it is a very divisive subject.

Neil did not share any information on the possible changes in The Last of Us Part III’s story, but we’re hoping to get more details as The Last of Us Part III is in full production and the development has progressed significantly.
