Metro Exodus will feature 2 pieces of DLC from the season pass. Each expansion will focus on someone other than Artyom, with the first being The Two Colonels. Arriving this summer this DLC campaign will follow Colonel Kalashnikov attempting to find his way home.
The second campaign is called Sam's Story and will follow a US Marine named Sam attempting to find his family. This campaign will arrive in early 2020 and will feature a sandbox world.
There will be two major pieces of story-driven DLC for the game, following brand new stories from the world of Metro. Instead of Artyom, players will have the chance to see through the eyes of a brand new character and of one of the Spartan Rangers, the Aurora’s only American, Sam. Both of these will be available as part of the expansion pass, but will also be available for purchase separately.
Metro Exodus is a first-person survival game where the player takes control of Artyom, a survivor living in Russia following a nuclear holocaust. As the third installment in the popular franchise players finally ventures outside the Metro to the open world. Using the locomotive "Aurora" Artyom heads east with his family, what follows is a year-long tale into the cold unforgiving world above.
Metro Exodus is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Robert played through the main game and stated:
Metro Exodus won't appeal to everyone; but if you walk along to its slow pace and take your time with what it has to show and tell, you'll be in for one of the most powerful post-apocalyptic journeys out there.
