Nintendo has been on a roll lately with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and the recent release of Super Mario Odyssey. Now the company's latest console, the Nintendo Switch, has been reported to have sold over 10 million units. And it hasn't been a year since its launch yet.

According to Nintendo of America, the latest sales reports indicate that the Nintendo Switch has reached 10 million in sales. This is 9 months after the system was first released and considering that Super Mario Odyssey sold 2 million copies in its first week it would seem that comments about people just buying the system because of its popularity are false.

The Nintendo Switch has had a great year. Since its launch, Nintendo has been hard at work attempting to keep stores supplied with the console. Recently The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild received the Game of the Year 2017 Award at the 2017 Game Awards.
