Rumor: Red Dead Redemption Announcement this Week

Another rumor has surfaced regarding Red Dead Redemption, and it's not a sequel but a remastered edition of the original game.

Korean's gaming site Gamefocus, and translated by NeoGAF user Delaney, is reporting that Rockstar is working on a remastered version of Red Dead Redemption for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The site stated that the game will be announced at Sony's press conference this Wednesday, September 7th. Currently rumored for this same meeting is the grand reveal of the PlayStation 4 Slim and Neo.

It seems very unlikely that Red Dead Redemption will get the HD treatment after becoming backward compatible last July for Xbox One. If Sony is planning to reveal new versions of the PS4 showcasing a 6-year-old game seems very strange, especially running on Neo hardware. 

Until this Wednesday this is simply a rumor.
