The Nintendo Direct presentation for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate didn't stop for King K. Rool or the Belmonts, revealing 2 more Echo Fighters for the game. Dark Samus from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Chrom from Fire Emblem: Awakening will join the fight this December.
Chrom will feature Roy's movement and Dark Samus will feature Samus. Chrom was featured in the trailer for the previous Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS and Dark Samus was limited to an Assist trophy.
During the announcement, it was confirmed that Echo Fighters can be featured on the game's character selection screen or as swappable costumes for the primary character they're based on.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will release for Nintendo Switch on December 7th.
