After Telltale Games sudden closure, many were worried that Clementine's journey would remain unfinished. Skybound Games came to the rescue and decided to end provide the funding for the final 2 episodes before closing off the series. Now, gamers can experience the entire journey of Clementine from start to finish this September 10th on Xbox One, PS4, and Epic Games Store for PC with The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series. With a new trailer highlighting the updated visuals and features.
The definitive edition will include the four primary seasons the 400 Days DLC, The Walking Dead: Michonne, developer commentary, concept, and character art galleries, a documentary short titled Return of The Walking Dead, a music player, the option to turn on classic menus, and a filter to make the art style look like that of the comic book.
Telltale Games closure shooked the industry went it was announced. The news was sudden and left the staff at Telltale mere hours to clear out their desk and leave the building without severance and only weeks of health benefits. It also meant the end of projects such as the highly anticipated The Wolf Among Us 2 and recently the removal of Telltale Games' titles on various digital stores due to licenses being expired.
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series launches this September 10th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC through the Epic Games Store.
