More dungeons, more waifus, and just the right amount of chaos.

You have arrived at the right location if you have ever pondered the question, "Is it really in some way inappropriate to pick up girls in a dungeon"? Throughout its existence, the DanMachi series, which was initially in the form of a light novel written by Fujino Ōmori, has extended to encompass anime, manga, and video games.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? ~Fullland of Water and Light~, the most recent chapter in the series, takes the standard hijinks of the game, which include dungeon delving, worshipping goddesses, and forming harems, and seeks to incorporate a new adventure into the mix. A combination of action, role-playing game mechanics, and anime fun is what Racjin Co., Ltd., the developers of Memoria Freese mobile RPG, claims to deliver. To what extent does it live up to expectations, or is it only another attempt to capitalize on Bell Cranel's ever-growing list of love preferences?

In Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? ~Fullland of Water and Light~, our favorite protagonist, Bell Cranel, has white hair and red eyes, and his ever-loyal goddess, Hestia, is swept away to an unexpected land that is full of water and light. Immediately, Bell is lured into a new crisis that involves mysterious beings, lost memories, and, of course, additional lovely girls who may or may not want to fight him, marry him, or both. This is typical of scenarios that are comparable to the one that Bell is currently facing.

The story is told in a format well-known to fans of the series: Hestia is envious of every female connection that Bell has, and as the mystery of Fullland is revealed, a mixture of humor and high-stakes drama unfolds. Bell is a protagonist who is well-meaning but naive, and Hestia is envious of every female relationship that he has.

A few new characters are introduced in this game. These characters are exclusive to this iteration and fit in quite well with the established DanMachi clichés. An example of one of the franchise's qualities is the writing, which is lighthearted but has the potential to become unexpectedly moving at crucial points in the story. You might be disappointed with the DanMachi recipe if you had anticipated significant modifications to the recipe.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? ~Fullland of Water and Light~ is an action role-playing game (RPG) that combines light exploration, character progression, and real-time combat against other players. You will be rushing through a number of dungeon-like places, engaging in fast-paced battles, collecting loot, and having conversations with a variety of characters in between missions. The game has a central location where you may communicate with other members of your party, upgrade your equipment, and accept new quests from other players.

The combat is easy but satisfying; it is a classic hack-and-slash action game with role-playing game elements scattered throughout. Bell is under your direct control, but you have the ability to switch between members of the party, each of whom has their own unique set of abilities.

The game also gives you the opportunity to do spectacular special skills that are outrageous in the most incredible way that can possibly be imagined. Although it is not the most complicated combat system available, it is engaging enough to keep things interesting throughout the action.

Combat in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? ~Fullland of Water and Light~ is mostly focused on action that moves at a rapid pace. You can dodge assaults, carry out light and heavy attacks, and have skill-based abilities that replenish over time. When it comes to enemies, there are a variety of attack patterns. While the majority of encounters may be won by just pressing buttons, more challenging adversaries require some strategic thought.

The boss fights are the most important part of the game. These boss fights are multi-phase encounters that need you to understand their attack patterns, the ability to avoid strikes when they are essential, and the ability to release powers intelligently. Despite the fact that you won't be able to break controllers out of frustration, you also won't be able to sleepwalk through encounters. This is because the game is not quite as difficult as Souls.

In a surprising turn of events, the game includes a few puzzles scattered across the game's many settings. There are certain environmental tasks that are quite easy to solve, such as finding the switch or moving the block, and there are also a few that are a little bit more challenging.

The fact that they are a welcome change of pace does not negate the fact that they are not innovative. They are going to be enjoyable for you if you are looking for hard-brain teasers while you are in the middle of bashing monsters.

The battles are fluid and responsive, and they include a wide range of fundamental strikes in addition to powers that are quite amazing. The fights against bosses provide the ideal level of challenge without being unduly unpleasant to the player. Interchanging between characters is a great way to keep things interesting, and puzzles offer a much-needed break from the action as well as a wide range of various things to accomplish.

On the other side, battles have the potential to get tiresome, particularly if you rely too heavily on hitting buttons. This is especially true if you are on a team. Despite the fact that there are a variety of reskinned creatures to fight, the variety of opponents cannot be considered extensive. In spite of the fact that they are a pleasant touch, the puzzles are neither challenging nor memorable in any significant sense.

For example, you may easily level up your characters by engaging in combat with enemies, achieving objectives, accumulating experience points, and improving your characters. Every single one of the characters has their very own skill tree, which enables a certain amount of personalization; nonetheless, the skill trees are not particularly detailed.

If you enjoy grinding for hours in order to obtain maximum stats, you will have a number of chances available. The game, on the other hand, does not demand a substantial amount of grinding; if you simply play often, you will be able to keep a good power level without the need to farm without interruption.

From a visual standpoint, the game is a nice representation of the anime's art style and, for the most part, looks great. There is a high level of detail in the character models, and although the landscapes are not extremely dynamic, they are colorful and decently well-designed.

Special attacks are accompanied by captivating animations that give the impression that the combat is appropriately grand. A typical issue that arises in anime-based role-playing games is that certain locations and enemies may have a sense of being copied and pasted.

The original Japanese cast has returned to reprise their roles, which contributes to the great voice acting (yes, it is totally voiced!). If the voice acting in the anime is something you appreciate, you will feel perfectly at home.

It is the perfect complement to the fantasy adventure concept that the soundtrack is composed of, with a combination of orchestral and exciting fight tunes. While the music is good, it does not leave a particularly lasting impression. The sound effects do what they are supposed to, which is to provide satisfying noises of attacks and the atmosphere in the surrounding area.

Am I making a mistake if I try to pick up girls while they are in a dungeon? Although it is a fun addition to the DanMachi brand, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? ~Fullland of Water and Light~ is a game that is not very unpredictable. The fact that it does not reinvent the wheel does not mean that it is required to do so; if you enjoy the series, you will most likely enjoy this one. The combat is entertaining, the tale has the typical combination of comedic and dramatic elements, and the interactions between the characters are just as charming (and insane) as they have always been.

On the other hand, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? ~Fullland of Water and Light~ is not devoid of difficulties. The lack of variation in the enemies, the repetitive nature of the fighting, and the presence of various puzzles that lack imagination prevent it from becoming truly spectacular. However, if you are searching for more DanMachi sweetness, light RPG action, and the ability to travel with your favorite characters once more, you will find what you are looking for with this game.

Verdict

Fans of DanMachi will have a nice time with Fullland of Water and Light. Newcomers, however, might be wondering why this child has so many goddesses and warriors competing for his attention. You are going to be entertained in any case.
