The Last of Us Part I has officially been delayed on PC. The PC port was set to release on 3 March 2023, but it has now been pushed to 28 March 2023. The delay is only be a few weeks, but there are doubtlessly many PC gamers who would love to finally get their hands on this thing and they now need to wait even longer than before.

This delay was announced by Naughty Dog via Twitter. The studio states that it has been blown away by all the love that has been poured on to The Last of Us franchise in the last few weeks and that the company is excited to bring the game to the PC platform for the first time. All this excitement is likely descended from the recent HBO adaptation of the game, which both received rave reviews and has been renewed for a second season.

Furthermore, Naughty Dog has seemingly moved away from the Uncharted series to instead focus on The Last of Us. There will seemingly be a multiplayer game of some sort and there is the possibility of The Last of Us Part III being a thing, but nothing is set in stone just yet. For now, the biggest thing to happen on the gaming side of The Last of Us is this PC port.

This PC port will likely be followed by a port of The Last of Us Part II and, seeing as Sony has spent the last few years gradually bringing a few of its PlayStation exclusives to the PC platform, hopefully this will continue to happen.
