The production studio for Titanfall has grown since the first game, by 30%.
EA and Respawn Entertainment have already confirmed the existence of Titanfall 2 even without any gameplay footage or a tease trailer to substantiate it. Back in January an investors meeting confirming the existence of Titanfall 2 and hoped to release it before March 2017.
The studio’s HR and recruiting manager, Kristin Christopher, told Develop that they had 70 developers working on the original game, now it has risen to 90 for the sequel. Christopher also stated that while the team is small they could see the studio hiring 70 more people to support the game.
Titanfall’s studio, Respawn Entertainment, was foundered by Jason West and Vince Zampella, the original founders of Infinity Ward and the ones responsible for Call of Duty.
Titan fall released by in 2014 with massive acclaim. The story was lacking and the single-player was hollow but the overall gameplay mechanics and fast pace shooting had players glued to their Xbox Ones and Xbox 360s for months.
