This week might go down in history as the biggest launch week ever for both large and smaller releases. It’s so insanely huge even, you’d wonder why there’s even a holiday season or why small publishers are trying to squeeze in. But first, let’s recap all the bigger titles, except for Skyrim, which already released a few days ago. Everyone is playing that already, it seems.

NoobFeed News - Release Hell Week [Too Many Games!]
It's-a tree, Mario! Click for fitfy-goddamn-three screenshots here!

First off, Super Mario 3D Land has released to the world. Are you ready for Mario’s first second adventure in 3D? (Let’s not forget Virtual Boy) Let's also not forget Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. There are some syncing differences between the US and Europe, but they will both come this week.

Then, we have Saints Row The Third, which will be coming November 15. This whacky sandbox mayhem title is said to be completely over the top and it’s the perfect way to wait for GTA V. THQ is also so confident, it will also be releasing its uDraw peripheral and bundled games this week. They must not realize gamers don’t have unlimited funds.

We have a ton more of these on our Youtube. Go now and subscribe.

Sega is releasing Shinobi on 3DS and Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games on the Wii to complete the love for Nintendo.

Electronic Arts is taking a break from banning people on Battlefield 3 to release Need For Speed: The Run, in which the action will take place outside of the car for the first time. Warner Bros is making sure people can play with blocks in the newest Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 on November 18. Oh, and Halo is releasing the same thing with a new sticker, yay. So is Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, though that one has a bunch of new goodies, if you didn’t expect them to come with the original release.

Trailer 3? You guessed: more of these as well.

But Ubisoft might win the powerhouse of ridiculous releases this week, by releasing Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Rayman Origins; two flagship titles from their vast library of quality IP’s. And if that’s not enough, it decided to somehow cram Anno 2070 in there as well, later this week. Thank you Ubisoft, for making sure people won’t be able to afford all your titles at once.

This is not ours, but pretty awesome nonetheless.

Then, there are smaller titles which inexplicably try to pinch some release money from heavily burdened consumers, all of which I’m personally upset about, because I wanted them all. Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends is slashing on PS3, coming November 18. Grotesque Tactics 2 couldn’t have picked a worse date than November 17 and DaGeDar, Vanguard Bandits and Jurassic Park are all out on November 15.

This one is brand new from today, because our Youtube also has the latest ones.

Give us your top 3 of the releases this week! Be original!

Ugh, subjective journalism at it's worst. This site's writing is going downhill. I remember the good days of azn, king, and 21.

Probably going to have my comment removed, but this is just constructive criticism.

  • @313: That depends on your idea of 'constructive,' but no, it won't be removed. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm just a writer; I don't wield some sort of magical iron fist over the whole site. But just for giggles: How is this the worst piece of subjective writing you've ever read? Not saying this piece is a beacon of neutrality, but I think I at least didn't make any black/white gaming arguments here. I don't think the article had any room for it. If you'd like, I could tell you which games I'd go for and which I wouldn't.

You want something creative?  Read my blogs!  You want good journalism?  Then read of crappy sites like IGN or Gamespot.  You don't like what we got to say?  Then just don't pat attention.  Seriously I would like you see do better.  Where is your jounalism?  Give @Daavpuke a break!  The man trys his best to make people happy!

  • great article! keep up the great work, Daav!

  • @RedWolf37: Hey now, I really like parts of Gamespot's coverage (and GS in general). Though sadly Andrew Park, which I perhaps appreciated most, has recently announced to be terminating his employment there. But thank you, I do try and get as much coverage of well-known and lesser known titles available for all you guys; those that like it and those that don't, in the most objective perspective I can muster in context. Meaning, news/feature items don't need to be 100% objective, as long as they're neutrally informative to their relevance. (P)Reviews however, need to be objective, regardless of my opinion on a game or franchise.

Also, I consider MGS HD to be last week's release but thank you for giving it an extra mention.

  • @313 All I see is you being narrow minded. Daav's news is just fine.

I don't know why people are getting mad at me. I'm just saying that it's not very professional to just come out and say an upcoming game is going to be crap because it's an HD re-release, updated game, or sequel. If it's a review, okay, but not in a news article.

And to people telling me to be a better journalist, I don't know that I could, I've never tried, it's not my job. That's like saying I'm not allowed to criticize a professional athlete who is playing poorly because I'm not as good as them.

Yeah I really shouldn't say gamespot I go there frequently too.  And IGN  but it is what it is.  I like your stuff because it gives me somthing to talk about.  But this month alone is massive!  ZELDA, ULTIMATE MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3, CALL OF DUTY, BATTLEFIELD, SHINOBI 3DS, MGS, HALO 1 HD, and much more!!!!

  • @313: Good thing I didn't say a any game here would be crap then, not in any extent. That's something you yourself colored in.
