Holy donkey-humping cheesecakes, have you had your mind blown today? Well, here’s something that might just do that!
We’re always supportive of indie developers trying to create novel new things in this world and Retro Affect from Meredith, New Hampshire deserves your attention as well. These three young lads driven by the desire and need to create, and something called an Eggo Waffle, came up with a hybrid of pretty damned epic proportion.
Hell yeah, you climb that stuff, robo-dude!
In something I’d like to call “Portal meets Braid,” their game “Snapshot” is a puzzle platformer where players can snap some pictures and then unleash them in different sections of the map. By creating these alternate instances, they can manipulate sceneries and solve puzzles as they hop along with their strange android character, lazily called Pic.
Check out the trailer from this 2D wonder, complete with vibrant pastel colors and charming art style. The description states: “Capture even the most unusual objects: doors, light, even copies of yourself!” Crispy crackers, that sounds so awesome!
Snapshot doesn’t currently sport a release date, but it better have one soon! Hey, Portal fans, how’s your excitement level right now?
