It looks like Microsoft is keeping their promise of their ongoing support for Kinect with new games for the hardware. And these games are most likely set to make some appearances (some gameplay demos, to be exact) at the publisher’s E3 press conference, which kicks off June 6th at 9:30 AM PST. Keep in mind that these are only rumors, so take this news as a grain of salt for now.
Another Dance Central? Yes, please.
Among the new Kinect titles include Kinect Fun Labs, Kinect Sports Season 2, and Dance Central 2. Yup, that’s right. Dance Central 2. So it just seems that Harmonix’s new game--which they will reveal at the event--is the latter, but this is yet to be confirmed. There’s currently no information on who will be handling Dance Central 2’s development, should these rumors be proven true. The same can be said for Harmonix’s latest title, in which the developer immediately ruled out Rock Band 4. We’ll find out if DC2 is the aforementioned game or another one entirely.
Last and certainly not least is Fable The Journey. Whether or not this is going to be a Kinect-focused game as the others previously mentioned, a spin-off/follow-up to Fable III, or a standalone title is unknown as of late. I guess we’ll just have to wait ‘til Monday!
All these titles have been linked to recent registered domains, as Superannuation has pointed out via Twitter (links to domains included).
