Borderlands 4 | Endgame Guide

Here's what you can focus on once you are done with the man campaign.

When the storyline segment of Borderlands 4 ends, the game is still at its very beginning. There's still so much to do with a wide range of activities, from progression systems, farming, and allowing you to keep on grinding for hours.

But with the lack of direction, it's easy to understand how so many can get lost. This guide will focus on what you can do after the campaign, how you can unlock important systems, and where you will be able to find the best loot.

1. Leveling Up

Most people complete the campaign, usually when they're around level 30. Your next milestone is going to be reaching level 50 in a breeze. For this, safehouses are going to play a big role since each one of them has a bounty board.

The best quest to farm for XP is Vile Bounties; they tend to provide you with the most XP. Regular bounties and certain kill quests are also pretty good at handing out XP.

Still, I would recommend skipping Acquisition Quests as they usually tend to be more time-consuming and not really worth the effort.

Unlocking a lot of safe houses and various regions makes levelling up much easier since it'll give you more bounty options.

It would also be wise to stack quests that overlap with the objective, for example, hunting rippers whilst also recovering items from them. This will allow you to progress faster without spending more time than necessary.

2. Progressing the Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank

You're overall game progression is going to be tied to your Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank (UVHR), which will also affect the quality of the items you get, rather than the drop rate.

Having a higher rank improves the stat roll of items, making them valuable over time. Your first step towards UVHR comes from completing Lilith's Wildcard mission, which will unlock rank one.

Each of the following ranks on words will require specific objectives, and they will often involve bosses that are found at drill sites.

Wind objectives are cleared, a mission called Rush to Gate will appear, which will advance your progression to the next rank. Repeating this process will unlock all five ranks.

3. Capture Order Silos

Order Silos are structures scattered around the map, and when you capture them, they reveal the location of vault fragments. Collecting the 3 fragments will allow you to form a Vault Key.

The keys are important because they allow you to unlock hidden Vaults, which contain unique bosses and exclusive legendary loot. Usually, there are three silos per region.

4. Encore Machine

Moxxi's Big Encore lets you fight bosses from the campaign, and the repeatable encounters provide you with a chance to farm legendary items that are tied to each boss, and since they can be revisited endlessly, it's one of the more reliable farming methods for legendary gear.

Borderlands 4 is packed with things to do once you're done with the main storyline, from bounty farming to repeatable boss fights, allowing you to farm and have fun with different builds.
