Here's how to get all the Dragon Balls in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO
Game Guide by Nine_toes on Oct 20, 2024
To summon Shenron, Porunga, and Super Shenron from Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, you must collect all seven Dragon Balls for each dragon. Here’s how you can get all Dragon Balls for each dragon.
Have the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition
If you purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of the game, you will receive a complete set of normal and Super Shenron Dragon Balls. This is one of the simplest ways to get these Dragon Balls early on, so if you have these editions, you can skip ahead to the summoning.
Whis' Stamp Book
For those who don't have the editions, focus on the challenges and missions in Whis' Stamp Book. Completing specific tasks will reward you with Dragon Balls. For example, by participating in three offline battles, you can earn a Dragon Ball. Simply switch to battle mode and play. Other tasks include ten victories in the Goku Saga, five battle training sessions, and ten ultimate blasts. You can quickly earn a Dragon Ball by editing your player card and simply changing the character render. Overall, playing through various game modes and battles will naturally result in the accumulation of Dragon Balls without much effort.
How To Farm Dragon Balls
Farming Dragon Balls can be done efficiently in battle mode. Playing offline allows for quick matches, and you should set the CPU difficulty to low to easily defeat opponents. To minimize losses, adjust the out-of-bounds rules for the World Tournament. Selecting the World Tournament stage is ideal, and choose a character with high attack power, such as Z Broly, who is one of the strongest characters available early in the game. If you have Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, he is also an excellent choice. Avoid giant characters because they are slow.
Change the team to include a weak character, preferably with low HP. Frieza Soldiers are good for this because they are easily defeated. During your battles, avoid getting ringed out, as winning is required to earn Dragon Balls. After several matches, you will randomly receive Dragon Balls, with normal Shenron dropping at a faster rate than Porunga's.
There are several methods for summoning Super Shenron. To begin, the Ultimate Edition comes with one set of Super Dragon Balls by default. Completing Goku's main story mode will also get you a full set of Super Dragon Balls. You can also earn Super Dragon Balls by completing Trunks' story mode, which includes his "what if" scenarios.
You Can’t Get Dragon Balls from Zeno’s Orders
Many players believe they can obtain Dragon Balls from Zeno's orders, but this is incorrect. While Zeno's orders include a Dragon Ball symbol, it represents a title or icon rather than a real Dragon Ball. So, disregard Zeno's orders and focus on Whis' Stamp Book for a dependable Dragon Ball collection.
What To Wish For?
When summoning Shenron, prioritize wishes for Zeni, as other wishes typically yield lower rewards. You can wish for a large amount of Zeni, which is required for unlocking items and progressing through the game. Some wishes can finish episode battles, but Zeni is the most valuable. For Super Shenron, your first wish is likely to grant you a large amount of Zeni, so prioritize it in your wishes.
