In Ghostwire: Tokyo, Musical Nekomata offers a short set of relic quests that focus on musical items. There are only six relic quests, and they are simple to clear once you know where to look. If you complete three of them, you can earn Astral Beads, which are useful for free Magatama farming.
How To Start The Musical Nekomata Relic Quests
You are hunting down specific musical relics tied to Musical Nekomata. Each relic is placed in a clear landmark area, usually near a shrine, a small building, or an obvious point of interest. Move area by area and collect each relic to finish the requests quickly.
Kagura Suzu Location In Akisawa Shrine
The first relic quest sends you to Kagura Suzu. You can find it at Akisawa Shrine, placed inside the shrine itself. It is hard to miss because it sits on the left side before you pick up your Katashiro.

Shamisen Location In Hirokawa Shrine Area
Another musical instrument is the Shamisen, found in the Hirokawa Shrine area. Head to the northern part of the area and look for a parking lot.
From the parking lot, walk straight until you reach a shed. The shed holds the Shamisen. A Visitor may be nearby, but it poses no serious threat. Use Quick Purge, open the shed, and take the relic.

Furin Location Near The Cemetery In Hirokawa Area
Next is Furin, the glass chime. This relic is also in the Hirokawa area. Use a nearby payphone as a map reference, then return to the parking lot. From there, jump over the fence into the cemetery, then jump over the next fence. On the side of the nearby house, you will find Furin.

Horagai Location Inside Hirokawa Shrine
There is also a relic inside Hirokawa Shrine itself. Go past the Hirokawa Shrine torii gate and enter the shrine grounds. Inside the shrine, you will find Horagai.
Biwa Location In Anten Area
The next item is Biwa, located in the Anten Area. You can find it inside the house where Zashiki Warashi is located. There is only one Zashiki Warashi in this area, so use that clue to identify the correct house. Once inside, the Biwa is in the main living room, which is the room directly in front of the entrance.

Wooden Fish Location After Art Imitates Life
The final relic is the Wooden Fish, and it is indirectly tied to a side mission. To get it, you need to complete the side mission "Art Imitates Life." After completing the mission, talk to the priest.
Once the priest passes on, you can enter the previously locked door. Inside, you will find a cool painting, and the Wooden Fish relic will be there.
