Hades II Guide | How To Unlock All Tools

When compared to its predecessor, Hades 2 has an unexpectedly high demand for resources. While exploring the underworld (or the surface!), keep an eye out for various items that can be used to strengthen Melinoe at the Crossroads.

You may get some of these resources by just digging them out from the ground, while others will necessitate special equipment. Gathering resources to unlock them is, of course, an essential first step. You may easily obtain all of the tools early on in the game, and they each have their own formula.

Tool Recipies

There are four different instruments that can be used to gather a variety of resources in Hades 2, and they are as follows:

Through the use of the Crescent Pick, Melinoe can mine the nodes from each region for minerals. Each region supplies a specific mineral. Once equipped, the Crescent Pick will result in the appearance of more mining nodes.

Melinoe is allowed to participate in a brief minigame with enormous Shades while she is in possession of the Tablet of Peace. The prize for this minigame is Psyche. These Shades will occur in greater numbers as you equip this.

The Silver Spade can be used to collect seeds, which can then be planted in the Soil Plots that are located close to Odysseus's station (of course, this is only possible when you have received Incantations and unlocked them). As soon as you equip this, additional digging patches will become available.

Melinoe can cast her rod at particular locations throughout a run. Adding this item will create extra fishing places.

You must visit the tool's location in the Training Grounds in order to equip it. A helpful sign will be displayed next to any Forget-Me-Nots that require resources that may be gathered with your tools. Keep in mind that you can only equip one at a time.

Here are the materials needed for each tool:

• Picking a Crescent
•  (1) Ash
•  In runs, ash is a common reward for encounters.
•  Plaque of Harmony
•  Silver five, Psyche five
•  Using the Crescent Pick, one can mine for silver in Erebus. A fundamental reward for encounters in runs is Psyche.
•  The Silver Spade
•  10 ounces of silver
•  Fishing Rod
•  1 Fabric of Fate, 1 Bronze

 In the City of Ephyra, you can use the Crescent Pick to mine bronze from the surface. During a run, friendly characters may occasionally drop Fate Fabric, or the Wretched Broker may sell it to you.

How To Upgrade Tools

You can upgrade your tools at the Silver Pool by casting the Greater Favor of Gaia incantation, which you'll be able to do late in the game.

 There is a one-time upgrade for each tool that improves its performance in some way.

• Picking a Crescent
•  Every node allows you to acquire one more mineral.
•  4 Iron, 6 Glassrock
•  Plaque of Harmony
•  Get 20% more Psyche by using Shades.
• Fifty Ash, three Marble
• The Silver Spade
• Possess a better opportunity to unearth richer treasures.
• 2 Mandrakes and 2 Bronzes
• Fishing Rod

Get the opportunity to reel in a variety of fish.

• Four Driftwood, two twin lures
