Indika Guide | Lift and Forklift Puzzle

Indika is a narrative-driven adventure game with challenging puzzles, particularly the Lift and Forklift puzzle. Here's a guide showing how to solve this puzzle.

Lift Puzzle Solution

During the "Stroboscopic Effect" chapter, you will encounter a lift challenge that requires careful manipulation to advance. 

Initial Setup

Don't use the lift as soon as you get there.  Instead, walk physically to the third floor using the passageways available.

Position the Lift

When you are on the third floor, locate the mechanism of the lift and position it in a half-up position between the second and third floors. That middle position will be crucial in the subsequent processes.

Working on the middle floor

Descend to the second floor and use the lift, which is now situated there, to drive up to the middle floor, halfway between the second and third floors.

Summoning the lift

On this middle platform, use the elevator call button.  When the elevator rises, jump quickly onto it.  This trick opens up previously off-limits areas.

Meet with Llya

With the lift's changed location, cross the path to reunite with the character Ilya, opening up further progress in the story.

Forklift Puzzle Solution

You will encounter the forklift challenge, wherein they must deliver massive tuna cans in the same chapter. This puzzle will come right after the lift puzzle.

Operating the Conveyor System

After descending to the conveyor system filled with tuna cans, go to ground level, where a can-moving vehicle (forklift) is located.

Operate the forklift

Use the forklift controls to navigate it towards the enormous tuna cans.

Creating a Stairway

Use the forklift to position a huge can in a precise location, creating a makeshift stairway.  This configuration allows Indika to ascend and reach Ilya, who is on a higher platform.

Crossing the Platform

After placing the can, park the forklift to act as a bridge or platform. This arrangement allows Indika to overcome challenges and continue the adventure with Ilya.
