Layers of Fear Guide | How To Get All Endings In Layers Of Fear: Inheritance

In the world of Layers Of Fear, you can play the story of the Daughter in a chapter called Inheritance. This tale follows her as an adult returning to her childhood home. Depending on how you act during the flashbacks in each room, you will reach one of three conclusions: Forgiveness, Resentment, or a hidden True Ending.

Choosing Between Forgiveness and Resentment

As you explore the house, you will see memories of the past. To move toward the Forgiveness ending, you should try to be kind or follow the Painter's wishes. In the Pantry, you must lock the door before he enters. In the Basement, find the Sheet Music and give it to him.

When you are in the Studio, use the Paintbrush instead of the Crayon and apply the colors in this order: Red, Black, then Yellow. In the Musician's Bedroom, play the Gramophone to help her feel better. 
In the Upstairs Living Room, pet the Dog to get it off the couch before the Painter sees it. In your own Bedroom, keep your eyes on the Painter and his work. Finally, in the Office, always take the right-hand path and play the correct notes on the Piano.

To earn the Resentment ending, you should do the opposite. Let the Painter find you in the Pantry, and approach him in the Basement without the music. Use the Crayon in the Studio and ignore the Gramophone in the bedroom. 
Let the Painter yell at the Dog in the living room and look away from his canvas in your Bedroom. In the Office, take the left-hand path and play the wrong notes on the Piano. You should also stay out of the Kitchen entirely, as seeing the memory there always helps the Forgiveness score. Once you finish these rooms, go to the Playroom to see your ending.

Finding the True Ending

To see the True Ending, you must collect all nine of the Daughter's drawings while following the path of Forgiveness. You can find these Drawings on the floor or on furniture after you finish the flashback in each room. Check the Pantry, Kitchen, Basement, Studio, Musician's Bedroom, Living Room, Daughter's Bedroom, and the Office. There is also one hidden in the Failed Painting Storage Room.

Once you have all nine pieces, do not go to the Playroom. Instead, go back to the Studio and put the drawings on the wall. You must arrange them so the black lines form a face. In the first row, put the musician in bed, the person looking out the window, and the dog destroying dolls. Picture of Sitting for a Portrait, being Surrounded by Mousetraps, and the Failed Paintings should all be put in the middle. The Big Scary Door, Playing the Piano, and Cooking the Dog should be in the bottom row. When the Daughter stops talking, look in the cabinet behind you to find the secret.
