Mario & Luigi: Brothership Guide | Wedding Plan To Choose

In Mario & Luigi: Brothership, you have the chance to choose between your friends' wedding plans and that of the strange merchant. The consequences of your selection will revolve around the outcome of the wedding event itself, with special regard to the cake and flowers. Now, let's get you to understand how this works so you can make an informed decision.

If you choose your friends' plan, start by visiting Florall Island and speaking with the florist in the north. He’ll agree to help, and then you’ll head to Slippengluide Island to order a cake from a lady there. Before that, you’ll need to travel to the northwest part of the island to get sugared powder. Once you reach the wedding, the cake and flowers will look a certain way based on this plan. Both choices will lead you to a new route to the lighthouse, so you won't miss anything important.

If you choose the strange merchant’s plan, you'll visit Lottacoin Island, where you’ll get ambushed and face extra battles. If you’re looking to grind for experience, this route offers that, but the battles aren’t difficult. For the flowers, you’ll go to Raynforst Island and meet Shun, where you’ll face even more fights. Again, these aren’t too tough, but they offer some extra animations and opportunities for combat. However, the experience gained here isn’t much greater than regular battles, so it’s not a major factor.

The cake and flowers will differ slightly at the wedding, but it's nothing major. Either way, you'll eventually continue to the great lighthouse to further your story.

If you want to do both, create two save files and go through each path separately. Take the merchant's plan, and you will be forced to confirm your decision on the cake, which is the last decision point.
