The enemy guarding Tower 2 Generator of Volt Forge in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond can be a bit tricky to take on because of how small the arena is. The fight primarily focuses on timing and the use of the psychic ability.
Clearing this enemy requires you to be patient as well as be cautious and in control, which can be a bit tricky to do, considering how small the arena is. This guide will guide you through how you'll be able to take this enemy on.
At the very beginning of the fight, there will be a bunch of small drones that orbit the main enemy. These drones can attack, and they also block damage given to the primary enemy, making it difficult to take down the core.

You'll first want to eliminate as many of these as you can using your standard fire. This will reduce the incoming damage as well as create space. Oftentimes, they drop health pickups once destroyed.
After its first few move sets, the enemy will then perform a ‘triangle’ attack maneuver that briefly exposes its energy beams, which are its weakness. This is a moment where you'll be able to dish out most of the damage.

As soon as the attack initiates, you'll want to go into your psychic mode and then fire the beam directly at the glowing orbs. The enemy will be in its vulnerable state during that phase, and significant damage can be dished out.

After the core closes again, you want to wait so that you can rinse and repeat the same attack maneuver, taking out the orbiting drones in the process. Again, you'll still want to be careful due to how small the arena is not to take significant damage.
It's also important to take your time, as rushing the step may lead to you missing your shots and needing to redo the psychic ability. It can quickly become dangerous because of how swiftly the enemy moves.
Repeating the same maneuver when the enemy does the triangle attack and steadily lowers its health. Taking down the tower to the generator enemy safely and swiftly.
