Here’s how you can complete the Source of the Floating Path Shrine Puzzle.

The Floating Shrine Puzzle in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. It's a pretty simple puzzle that requires you to utilize your psychic abilities to reach various platforms using Psychic Motes; this guide will explain how.

First, to unlock the shrine, once you reach the puzzle of the Floating Path Shrine, you are first required to make your way down using the elevator. But before that, you will need to shoot the console using Thunder Shot. This will allow you to access the elevator.

Inside the chamber, you'll notice an area that is filled with shallow water and a crystals scattererd everywhere. You'll want to clear out all of the crystals first before making progress.

There will also be a bunch of enemies, but they are relatively easy to take down if you use your Ice attack. Be mindful not to touch the liquid, as Rootspurs will spawn and attack you.

After clearing all the crystals and enemies, head to the main floor. Enter your psychic mode, and using the Psychic Motes, which will be placed nearby, place them onto the glowing orbs in the side of the wall to activate platforms.

You'll be able to do it two at a time, so your best bet is to alternate them by jumping on a platform, collecting the Mote from the previous platform, and placing it on the one further ahead.

You could also try double jumping and not relying on constantly switching Psychic Motes, but there's also a chance of you falling down after jumping across the platform.

You'll then be met with a door, but to unlock the door, you'll need to bring the psychic mote from the platform to the door; this will unlock it.

Opening the door will reward you with the Charged Ice Shot. There's also a hidden reward that can be accessed when you head back to the main platform near the gate where you first collect the Psychic Mote.

Going downstairs, there will be a spot where you will be able to place a Psychic Mote inside. Placing it in the slot will reward you with a shard expansion.
