My Time at Sandrock | Relationship Guide
A guide of relationships in My Time At Sandrock
Game Guide by Sabi on Dec 11, 2024
My Time at Sandrock is only one of several slice-of-life games where you'll find an unexpectedly large number of young, beautiful singles. About half of Sandrock's town is open so far, and there are plenty of opportunities to woo the many fascinating folks you'll meet there.
How Does Romance Work
In My Time at Sandrock, romance works similarly to friendships, but as the relationship progresses, additional content like dates, proposals, and marriages are incorporated.
Most of My Time at Sandrock's twenty romance possibilities will be waiting for you when you arrive in town, while a few will show up later.
The photos on the partnerships page will have red backgrounds instead of blue, and you'll see hearts beneath their names instead of the stars that are used for platonic partnerships.
Easy relationship points include daily chats, but you also need to shower your particular someone with gifts and spend quality time with them.
Give Good Gifts
Everyone in town loves receiving presents, but if you want to score big with your sweetheart on that special day, the key is to give them the perfect present.
My Time at Sandrock features some of the most diverse hobbies among romance possibilities, with each character having a list of things they love, like, detest, or feel neutral about.
When you converse with them, they'll sometimes be very specific about what they want, but other times, you have to take a wild guess based on their interests, profession, and personality type to figure out what they'll appreciate.
Be sure to give a gift daily to continually build your friendship, as long as they don't publicly reject it.
Play Critters Often
Although it's not the most challenging part of My Time at Sandrock, Critters is a straightforward card game that can be used to quickly and easily collect bonus points with your significant other for the day.
If you do better than your opponent and win more often than you lose, you'll earn more relationship points, but really, you can play with anyone.
Always play Critters for an easy connection boost; depending on your card play, you can receive up to fifteen extra points per day.
Go On Play Dates
If you want to spice up your dating life with some non-traditional dates, try going on play dates with the potential suitors in My Time at Sandrock.
Once you're friends, you may access these through the socializing settings, where you'll see a rubber ducky icon.
You and your date will engage in a variety of fun social activities during these playdates. The other person will trail behind you, so you can show them cool things to do, like:
- Gathering in the Game Center to play some games.
- Sat at the Oasis, having a heartfelt conversation.
- After the cable car is constructed and the Geeglers are under control, we will ride it together for a beautiful view.
- If you have made fireworks, light them together.
- The number of boot icons in the upper right corner of the screen indicates the number of acts remaining on a play date with the single of your choosing.
Confess Your Love
In order to express your feelings for your partner in My Time at Sandrock, you'll need to pay attention to dialogue that is indicated by a heart as you engage with them throughout the game.
You might encounter these in main missions or side quests, especially if you spend a lot of time chatting with your significant other. If you're interested in dating this character, make sure to select these options whenever you can.
In rare cases, this can cause your romantic interest to confess their feelings for you first—a situation known as a Reverse Confession.
How To Get Married
You can pop the question to your Sandrock sweetheart after you've gotten to know them and spent some time together.
You must have progressed to the lover level in your relationship to accomplish this. You must have attained level five in your Workshop Ranking in addition to having settled into Sandrock.
You can't pop the question without an engagement ring. You can buy them from the Mysterious Man when he comes to town, and you can keep them on you until the time comes.
No matter how much you try to win Pen over with an engagement ring, he just won't take it. However, the concept has universal support.
If you're looking to add a little flair to an otherwise ordinary social gathering, you can give the ring as an engagement present or on a date to make it more memorable.
Once your fiancé accepts the ring, you are legally married. However, you have the option to hold a wedding ceremony no later than one week after presenting the ring.
