Pacific Drive finishes in thrilling style with a secret high-performance motor that rewards players for beating the final task. To receive this potent upgrade, though, players have to accomplish a special series of environmental actions and strategic weapon deployment. This guide describes how to trigger the reward, its effects, and how to apply it.

Triggering the Final Sequence

As you make your way through to the endgame, you'll reach a point where you go from walking to having your car parked for you to get in. The true secret to gaining access to the hidden reward is actually located at the rear of the motorized transport. The "Shocked Tourists" are a series of oddities.

They work as locks on a series of mechanisms that need to activate in sequence to trigger the event that unlocks the reward. Other firearm choices in the game work as well, but the Flare Gun is pleasing to fire and effective in causing damage to get things started. Other guns work so long as they start the necessary reaction.

Watch for it to work properly every time, though, as the reaction might not trigger properly every time. If all of the oddities cannot trigger properly, the series of events might not go off as planned, requiring human interference to get things going properly.

To avoid getting stranded, have at least two guns on hand and sufficient ammo to get through the series of events. After all of the oddities have been eliminated, the secret reward is revealed.

The God-tier Engine

After successfully passing the challenge, on high shall drop upon you a high-performance motor. This high-end upgrade far surpasses even basic motors that, even at the end game, the majority of players still possess.

At 840 horsepower, four power outputs increase in power output, and half the cost of gas, this motor makes your ride pure power. Other than that, it has protection from collisions by 30% and from explosions by 30%, so that even in worst-case situations, it is ultra-tough.

Notwithstanding these gigantic benefits, the motor has glaring disadvantages. It is triple damaged from piercing attacks and cannot be repaired. As a result, it is so susceptible to spikes and sharp objects that it is completely useless if not used gently.

Although improvement gives gigantic power and acceleration capability, it must have precise driving to survive for so much longer.

Performance and Fuel Considerations

Its greatest advantage is that it significantly boosts cruise speed and power output. It boosts the car's cruise average by 15-20 mph to reduce reliance on Nitro Boost in cases of needing quick power for quick getaways, evasive actions to stay clear of dangers, or sustained high velocities at low gas costs.

With more gas economy but higher output, half of the net gas capacity for in-game play is reduced. To make up for that, players have to carry extra cans of gas in packs, but at the cost of precious pack space.

Alternatively, players may sacrifice a seat rack to fit in extra space for the gas tank but at reduced in-pack space and space for more people. Operating with this motor involves selecting how to manage gas to strike a balance in performance or conserve resources.

Final Thoughts and Tips

Aside from the motor itself, getting this reward is thematic in that it finally breaks game story bounds to go wherever in the universe on your own timeline. Using only red paint and flam decal designs offers players a minor increase in speed but has players going at a maximum of 69 mph.

Ultimately, this secret endgame motor is revolutionary in that it offers vast power at the price of reliability and gas mileage. Used correctly, it offers more of a rush of experience, making driving through the final part of Pacific Drive all that much more worthwhile.
