Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar Guide | How to Unlock Clothing Store & Outfits

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar offers a fun way to customize your characters, but there are a lot of ways you can get some of these clothing items for free.

This guide will break down ways to craft the perfect clothing item for your character. 

Unlocking Karina's Clothing Store

After you level up the bazaar for the first time, Karina will arrive and ask for your help with opening her clothing store. She will need one accessory and 15 color dyes. You can make accessories such as necklaces or brooches at the red windmill.

You will need Moonstone and Peridot for some accessories, but these could be rare. However, these can be easily found in mineral rocks. Upgrade the hatchet to copper to break silver rocks and collect silver.

Color dyes are made from wildflowers. Once you complete this quest, Karina's clothing store will open every Saturday during the bazaar.

At first, your options will be limited, but more clothing options become available as the bazaar levels up.

Crafting Clothes

To craft clothes, you will require Yarn, Color Dyes, and Money. You can process Yarn from sheep or alpaca wool at the windmill.

It is important to raise multiple varieties of livestock to unlock all the outfits, including white sheep, Suffolk sheep, white alpacas, and brown alpacas. Make sure to check Ramon's shop regularly to purchase new animals when available.

Basic dyes like Warm, Cool, and Nature can be made with wildflowers, but you need to grow your own flowers on the farm for Noble and Elegant dyes.

Some advanced outfits require Golden Yarn, created by processing Golden Fur in the yellow windmill. Because Golden Fur is rare, it is best not to waste it on lower-priority items.

Outfits Available at the Final Bazaar Level

Once the bazaar reaches its final level, all of Karina's clothing becomes available, including:

Gothic Suspenders, which is a stylish and expensive outfit. You will also unlock the Duffle Coat. The white version is considered a fan favorite, along with the Down Jacket, which is A cozy winter option. 

Clothing from Villagers

You can also earn clothes by completing villagers' requests and raising friendship levels. Friendship can be improved by gifting items they like, for example, tea, perfume, or food.

You can get Zephyr Town Attire by completing the request from Stuart. He gives this outfit to 2 hearts after a request for 5 stones and 5 lumber. You can increase the friendship level by giving him tea.

For Black Suit and Tie, you can help Harold find his missing item for his 2 hearts requests. You can give him tea to increase your friendship level.

Next, for Black Pantsuit & Brown Duffle Coat, you can complete Sherene's request at 4 hearts and 8 hearts. You can give her perfume to raise friendship. The 8-heart request also requires raising pet friendship to 5 hearts.

For the Peacoat, you can get it from Jules at 5 hearts' request after giving him rare crops. Eating food with the "Watering Rare Crop" buff, such as Mashed Potatoes from the café, helps grow these crops. Jules likes mint and prefers Herbal Perfume.

Bazaar Attire can be earned from Felix. He will give this outfit at 4 hearts for finding his missing item request. He likes curry.

Black Gothic Suspenders are from June, which she will give at 5 hearts after requesting 3-star tea. For growing tea, you can grow it in your field and fertilize it while also watering it twice daily.

Then use the yellow windmill to create tea tins. If the quality is low, you can add milk to boost the rating.

Lastly, the Blue Overalls are from Wilbur's rare 8-heart reward. He requests 10 bees with 5-star quality, which have to be donated to the nature sprites. You can catch Bees in the mountain flower field. Wilbur likes fish, which makes it easier to raise friendship.
