The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has many places to explore, and knowing the tips and tricks can help you progress further in the game. Here is a list of tips and tricks to help you in battles and while exploring.
Climb Using Water Block
Water blocks can be placed inside one another and will rise, so you can just keep spawning them repeatedly to create a really tall pillar you can swim through. This makes it so easy to reach pretty much any high location in the game.
Restore Health with Bed Prompt
Once you see a Bed rest for the prompt before immediately getting out, you might want to stay a little longer. Resting in bed restores your health. This might seem overpowered at first, being able to heal at any time, but a lot of the game’s challenge comes from situations where using a bed isn’t feasible, like when surrounded by enemies.
Make Use of Small Echoes
Sometimes, many small Echoes can be more effective than a single large one. A powerful enemy generally focuses on one target at a time, so spawning multiple smaller Echoes can distract them. For instance, tech sites can drain your health quickly with their relentless jumping, but a swarm of small Echoes can keep them occupied better than one giant Lynel.
Beware of Indirect Harming Of Echoes
Always remember that Echoes can’t hurt you directly but can harm you indirectly. For instance, any Fire Echo like Ignizol, if it catches on grass and you try to walk in it, the fire will harm you.
Pick and Drop Enemies Using Bind
You can pick up enemies and drop them, but always remember that once you drop the enemy, you cannot learn its echo.
Walk Over Trees
When you first start exploring, you might feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, just a bunch of trees. Remember that you can walk over treetops.
Claim Missed Chests
If you are exploring a Dungeon and missed a chest, you can always go back and claim the chest without having to complete the dungeon.
