The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has a lot of hidden treasures in numerous locations around the map. Most of them are not highlighted on the map, so you might miss them. This guide will walk you through all of the hidden treasures.
Northwest of White Orchard
Start from the northwest of White Orchard, and you'll come across the Nilfgaardian garrison, which has two secret boxes buried behind its walls. After you arrive, head on towards the entrance, but make sure you do not sprint and jump recklessly, or you will fall to your death.
When you land, look to the left for a treasure chest containing a Dorian sword, leather scraps, some oranges, and random hunting boots—the loot is sometimes random, but you usually obtain a sword that is better than your beginning one.
Inside the Nilfgaardian garrison
Inside the garrison, turn left until you reach a locked gate on the left side. Unfortunately, the key is on the opposite side of the fence. To get through this, move to the right, and you'll find a white-painted wall that you can climb over. Once you're in the secret location with the crumbling walls, blow it open.
Following that, proceed through the region. On the right, you'll notice a drunken man hiding with a scratch key that opens the door on the other side. There are other valuable elements, such as silver, which are required to create a silver sword.
When you enter through the gate, immediately turn right to find a small storage area that you may loot for more money.
Treasure Under the Ocean and in the Swamp
Move east from the garrison into the water to find your third prize, which is buried beneath a boat—spoils of war location on your map. Dive underwater to retrieve a brigade sword and ten florens.
There is a treasure guarded by wolves in the swamp beneath the garrison, as noted on the map. If you come across poison gas clouds that harm you, use the symbol igni to clear them before fighting the wolves.
Coastal and River Chests
Go south along the coast to find a secret chest, then four more down the river. Next to a magnificent bridge, there is a concealed merchant with a Temerian lily key that Nilfgaard soldiers dumped over the bridge.
Use this key to unlock a chest containing blood-soaked military orders, a silver amber necklace, and Special Forces insignias.
The merchant's logbook hints at other treasures. Using your wits and senses, trace the trail back to find the Temerian hidden treasures.
Giant Window and Abandoned House
Your first set of goodies awaits you at the base of a massive window: a chest containing a hatchet, hunting gauntlets, and five silver for creating a silver ingot. If you haven't secured the key before opening the chest, it may be locked.
Inside an abandoned house, use the odd sign to blast open a secret passage leading to a pile of Temerian treasure containing gambeson, cavalry trousers diagram, manuscript for relict oil, Oren's master tracker trousers, Special Forces insignia, and a scribbled document explaining that the convoy was robbed.
Underwater Treasures near the Bridge
Return to the bridge to discover more underwater chests. You will come upon netting and valuable fossils along the way. Using your witcher senses, locate a chest that has been underwater longer than the others, which contains an armor schematic and a fundable potion.
Mark a spot near a house further down the river, and then dive to gather boxes containing cavalry armor pieces and a torn-out alchemy recipe paper. Use your senses to find additional chests near boats, including one containing vampire oil.
Treasures of Woesong Bridge and the Beach
At Woesong Bridge, look down for a very evident treasure chest alongside a boat carrying gold that can be deconstructed into ingredients. Continue past the seaside hut to locate another hidden treasure with a pearl.
Moving south past the Ford to a ransacked settlement, you will discover a marked treasure chest and another secret box outside the map in the water. Before attempting this one, save your game and use your silver sword to defeat Drowners.
Exploding barrels can be useful in combat, while another chest contains assassin trousers, further diagrams, and a formula.
The Most Hidden Treasure Chest
You can examine a roundabout on your map outside on the ocean with your witcher senses. You can see the chest, but if you swim towards it, it will take you to the edge of the map. You have to turn back, dive, and then swiftly grab the chest. Do not expect to get it at once; it may take several attempts as it pushes you back.
Additional Hidden Treasures Near the Ransacked Village
Explore a bridge near the wrecked village to uncover hidden treasure. Even if you mistakenly pilfer a chest before filming, parcels on the beach suggest that there are more chests ahead. Follow the map and swim over to find more guarded valuables, encountering Drowners along the way. Use your witcher senses to travel rapidly.
Loot a bandit camp near WoW Song Bridge for master cavalry trousers, archer's gambeson, and crafting recipe. In an abandoned settlement, dive into a well to discover a hidden jewelry box and an exquisite bracelet—a frequently overlooked quest item.
Enter a cave, then a lake, where you'll find another chest with master cavalry trousers and a fisherman's heart, as well as further chests holding a pearl.
Treasures of Woesong Bridge and Beyond
From Woesong Bridge, proceed east to a battlefield region along the missing-in-action quest line, where multiple chests are buried among bodies that provide iron. You can possibly come across a dead soldier's note referring to previously discovered treasure in the devastated settlement.
Approach the bridge by removing a wooden post, which will uncover a secret chest containing a short sword and some gold. A hidden chest is at the bottom of a waterfall on a cliff to the left; ride your horse up the river to get there.
The Final Hidden Treasures
A very concealed chest may be found at the bottom of the waterfall, close to a body. Then, north of Woesong Bridge. Cross open fields to find a secret treasure on your map, guarded by assistance. Defeat wolves and bandits to find a camp full of faulty notes, another master item, and extra diagrams.
Leave barrels behind to collect additional notes detailing how former soldiers became renegades and kept their treasure.
In another bandit camp, avoid and destroy foes while collecting the ultimate treasures: silver teapots, elite coins, and much more riches dispersed around. From the ballot camp, descend to another hidden chest near butchered bodies.
Travel to the broken bridge to find a treasure chest full of gold. Afterward, go south, and you'll come across another bandit camp. You'll secure some additional loot once you eliminate the bandits from there. Return to your guardian outpost and look south for another hidden treasure amid the smoke and drowned enemies.
